Shillong, March 12 : A government vehicle was set on fire by unidentified individuals in Nongmensong Dongkadiang, Shillong, early Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:50 AM when a Swift Dzire car with registration number ML 05 AB 1290 was torched while parked on the roadside.
Authorities have confirmed that the vehicle is registered to the Meghalaya Infrastructure Development and Finance Corporation Ltd., Nongrim Hills, Shillong.
The fire caused extensive damage to the front portion of the vehicle. Police are currently investigating the incident.
