New Delhi, June 18 : In a move aimed at significantly enhancing convenience and cost-efficiency for highway commuters, a new FASTag-based Annual Pass, priced at ₹3,000, will be introduced nationwide, effective August 15, 2025. This pass is specifically designed for non-commercial private vehicles, including cars, jeeps, and vans.
The Annual Pass will be valid for one year from its activation date or for up to 200 trips, whichever comes first. It promises seamless and cost-effective travel across National Highways throughout India.
According to the announcement, a dedicated link for both activation and renewal of this pass will soon be accessible via the Rajmarg Yatra App, as well as on the official websites of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH).
This new policy is set to address long-standing concerns regarding multiple toll plazas located within a 60 km range, simplifying toll payments through a single, affordable transaction. By reducing wait times, easing congestion, and minimizing disputes at toll plazas, the Annual Pass is expected to deliver a faster and smoother travel experience for millions of private vehicle owners.
