Shillong, August 13 : Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma inaugurated three landmark community projects at Nongkseh: the Nongkseh Artificial Turf Football Ground cum Sitting Gallery, the Nongkseh Basketball Court, and the Nongkseh Mushroom Cultivation Project. The initiatives, organized by the Dorbar Shnong Raid Sawkur Nongkseh and the Nongkseh Sports Social & Cultural Club (NSSCC), are aimed at promoting sports, healthy lifestyles, and sustainable livelihoods.

He also cited the success of the Floriculture Mission in Mawkriah village, where beneficiaries are earning substantial incomes.
Encouraging the community to take full advantage of government schemes like “YESS! Meghalaya” and “CM Elevate,” he reaffirmed the government’s commitment to youth development and announced plans for new track-and-field stadiums, convention centers, and indoor sports facilities across all district headquarters.
