Resubelpara, September 05 : In a successful operation on 31st August 2025, the Bajengdoba Police Team acted on a tip-off and apprehended one suspect, Jaibin Rabha of Agia, Goalpara, Assam, from Bajengdoba. Rabha was suspected to be involved in vehicle lifting activities.
Upon interrogation, the suspect confessed to stealing two bikes from Assam and selling them at Getapara village. Acting on the lead, police recovered three stolen two-wheelers, all without number plates, from the village.
The recovered vehicles include:
- A grey Pulsar 125 CC bike
- A black & red Pulsar 180 CC bike
- A blue & black NTORQ scooter
Police confirmed that the two motorbikes were linked to a theft case already registered at Agia Police Station, Assam. Following due procedure, the suspect and the two recovered bikes have been handed over to Agia Police for further legal action. Meanwhile, the scooter has been kept at the Bajengdoba Thana for additional verification.
