Shillong, September 17 : Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma will oversee Cabinet Affairs, the Finance Department, and any other portfolios not specifically allotted to ministers, reinforcing his central role in the state’s governance.
- Prestone Tynsong, Deputy Chief Minister, will handle Home (Police), Public Works (Roads and Buildings), District Council Affairs, and Parliamentary Affairs.
- Sniawbhalang Dhar, Deputy Chief Minister, will oversee Urban Affairs, Transport, Commerce & Industries, and Prisons & Correctional Services.
- Marcuise N. Marak will manage Public Health Engineering, Housing, and Soil & Water Conservation.
- Metbah Lyngdoh takes charge of Power, Water Resources, Taxation, and Textile, ensuring energy security and industrial progress.
- Timothy D. Shira will lead Tourism, Agriculture, and Fisheries, key to rural development and livelihood creation.
- Brening A. Sangma is responsible for Border Area Development, Excise, and Home (Civil Defence & Home Guards), focusing on border security and revenue.
- Lahkmen Rymbui will lead Education, Revenue & Disaster Management, Information & Public Relations, and Law.
- Wailadmiki Shylla will oversee Health & Family Welfare, Sports & Youth Affairs, and Home (Passport).
- Sosthenes Sohtun will manage Community & Rural Development, Secretariat Administration, and General Administration.
- Sanbor Shullai will guide Animal Husbandry & Veterinary, Arts & Culture, Printing & Stationery, and Legal Metrology.
- Methodius Dkhar will take charge of Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Labour, Employment & Skill, Registration & Stamps, and Cooperation.
