MSSDS Signs MoU with Jaceex Ventures to Boost Overseas Jobs for Meghalaya Youth

Shillong, September 17 : The Meghalaya State Skill Development Society (MSSDS) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jaceex Ventures LLP to create overseas employment opportunities for local youth in Japan under Jaceex’s flagship Youth4Japan programme. This collaboration aims to equip candidates with global skills and facilitate placements in key sectors such as elder care, agriculture, hospitality and food service, and driving.

Under the agreement, Jaceex Ventures, an NSDC-empaneled sending organization, will oversee the entire process of selection, training, and placement.
The programme includes Japanese language training up to N4 level, cultural orientation, domain-specific skill development, and pre-departure preparation, ensuring candidates are fully equipped to work and adapt in Japan

Selected candidates will receive employment contracts in Japan offering salaries of ₹1.1 to ₹1.2 lakh per month, in addition to overtime, bonuses, and accommodation support. To make the programme more accessible, the Government of Meghalaya will provide partial financial assistance of up to ₹50,000 per candidate through MSSDS to reduce training costs and encourage wider participation.

Officials emphasized that the MoU will help tackle youth unemployment and underemployment by providing global exposure and career advancement.
The partnership highlights transparent recruitment processes, welfare monitoring, and long-term career support, aligning with the state’s Skills Meghalaya Programme to build a skilled workforce with international opportunities.

The MSSDS-Jaceex collaboration is expected to create a sustainable pathway for young professionals in Meghalaya to secure high-quality jobs overseas, marking a significant step toward the state’s vision of inclusive, skill-driven growth.
