Shillong, October 19: The Meghalaya Football Association will felicitate the Alisha Lyngdoh and Bonifilia Shullai during the half time break of the India-Iran match of the Women’s Tri-Nations Tournament on Tuesday at the JN Stadium, Polo.
The two Meghalaya footballers were members of the historic Indian squad that recently qualified for the AFC U-17 Women’s Asian Cup China 2026. The Young Tigresses had last featured in the AFC U-17 Women’s Asian Cup in 2005.
Alisha and Bonifilia are back in Meghalaya for a short break before they begin preparations for the Indian Women’s League and international duty.
