Shillong, December 3 : The junior women’s selection committee of the Meghalaya Cricket Association has selected 15 players and five standbys for the BCCI’s U-19 Women’s One Day Trophy 2025-26 plate group.
The tournament will begin on 13 December with Meghalaya facing Tripura. All the plate group matches will take place in Nagpur. The other teams in the group are Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram and Sikkim.
Fennysha Nongrum will captain the side, while Cheanchi Kambesa Sangma will be vice-captain. The Meghalaya team will be coached by Bhakupar Mylliemngap.
The preparatory camp will be held from 5 to 9 December at the RBDCA Ground in Pahamsning, Nongkhrah. Players, including standbys, from Khasi-Jaintia Hills should report at Polo Ground, Shillong, on 4 December at 2pm for departure to Nongpoh. Those from Garo Hills should report to Nongpoh on the same day. The state team will leave for Nagpur directly from Nongpoh on 10 December.
