Two Women Reported Missing from Shillong; Police Seek Public Assistance

Shillong, June 10: The Meghalaya Police have appealed to the public for assistance in tracing two women who have gone missing from Shillong in separate incidents.

According to East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police, Vivek Syiem, Prethyna Ch. Momin, a 22-year-old woman, has been missing since June 9. She is described as being around 5 feet tall, with a fair complexion, brown eyes, and long hair. She speaks Hindi and Garo and was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt and black trousers.

In another case, Bobby Dorjee, a 42-year-old woman, has been reported missing since June 2 from Shillong. She is approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall, has a fair and round face, black-and-grey hair, and speaks Nepali and Hindi. Police said she has a soft voice and was last seen wearing a shirt, green churidar, golden-coloured sweater, and black sandals.

The police have urged anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of either of the missing women to contact the authorities immediately.
