Shillong, August 7: Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IndianOil) on Friday launched Indane XTRALITE NOW, an innovative 10 kg composite LPG cylinder coupled with an express delivery service, marking a significant step towards enhancing customer convenience and modernising LPG distribution.
The new offering was launched in the presence of Evarinia Liza Warjri, Additional Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills; Ibasisha Mawlong, Director, Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs; Shai Kupar, OSD, Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs; Amarjyoti Bordoloi, State LPG Head, IndianOil AOD State Office, along with senior officials of IndianOil.
Designed to meet the evolving needs of modern households, Indane XTRALITE NOW features a lightweight, rust-free composite cylinder and is backed by a digitally enabled service ecosystem aimed at providing greater convenience, safety and transparency to consumers.
The cylinder comes with a translucent body that allows customers to easily monitor the LPG level. It also offers express delivery within four hours of booking, preferred time delivery options and a simplified documentation process.
Customers can register for new LPG connections and book refills through the IndianOil ONE App and the IndianOil Customer Portal. The company also announced that a WhatsApp booking facility will soon be introduced, further simplifying the booking process.
IndianOil said the new product will be available through its extensive network of Indane distributors as well as selected IndianOil retail outlets, ensuring wider accessibility and faster service for consumers across the region.
The company stated that Indane XTRALITE NOW has been developed to cater to the needs of urban households, working professionals, residential communities and customers seeking greater convenience and premium services.
