Shillong, November 14 : The Shillong Traffic Police (STP) will implement trial traffic changes in the Pynthorumkhrah and Pohkseh areas on a trial basis starting from November 15, 2023. The changes are aimed at improving vehicular traffic flow in these busy areas.
Pynthorumkhrah Area
- No Entry will be imposed at 5th Furlong Bridge (B. K. Bajoria Jn.) for vehicles wanting to proceed towards Pynthorumkhrah Bazaar (Assam Dairy Jn.)
Pohkseh Area
- The stretch of road as shown in the diagram indicated as Point A, B, C, and D shall function as a ring-round road, i.e., vehicles will be allowed to ply from Point A to B to C to D and to A respectively.
- No Entry will be imposed for vehicles wanting to ply from Point A to D to C to B and to A respectively.
