BDW International School successfully concludes two-day CBSE-ISTM TOT Certification programme

Shillong, April 26: BDW International School, Shillong successfully concluded the prestigious Two-Day Training of Trainers (TOT) Certification Course for aspiring CBSE Resource Persons, jointly designed, developed, and delivered by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management (ISTM).

The Valedictory Function, held at the school campus, marked the end of an enriching journey for over 28 participants, which included 09 school principals and more than 19 PGT and TGT teachers from leading schools across the region.

The programme was graced by the esteemed presence of two eminent national resource persons – Dr. Subhrajyoti Ray, Joint Director (Personnel), Government of West Bengal, and Ms. Preeti Khatri, Assistant Secretary, CBSE, Delhi.

Dr. Ray shared inspiring insights on educational leadership, training methodologies, and nation-building through teacher development. Ms. Preeti Khatri, Assistant Secretary, CBSE, Delhi, motivated the participants with her dynamic sessions on effective facilitation, teacher empowerment, and the evolving role of educators under the new educational frameworks.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Gayathri Natarajan, Principal of BDW International School, expressed her pride and happiness at hosting such a significant national event. The Valedictory Ceremony was anchored by Mr. Rahul Damle, Venue Director – who congratulated all participants for their dedication, active engagement, and successful completion of the training.
