Shillong, February 11 : In a well-coordinated special operation, vigilant troops of the Border Security Force (BSF) Meghalaya successfully apprehended three Bangladeshi female nationals attempting to infiltrate into India from Bangladesh. The incident occurred near the international border in East Khasi Hills district.
During the operation, alert personnel from the 4th Battalion of the BSF detected suspicious movement along the border. Swift action was taken, leading to the apprehension of the three Bangladeshi nationals from Dhaka.
The apprehended individuals were subsequently handed over to Pynursla Police Station for further legal proceedings.
This successful operation underscores the BSF Meghalaya’s unwavering commitment to securing the nation’s borders and preventing illegal activities such as smuggling and infiltration.
