BSF MEGHALAYA LAUNCHES SPECIAL RECRUITMENT DRIVE FOR THE STATE’S YOUTH

Shillong, September 3 : The Border Security Force (BSF) has initiated a special recruitment rally for Constable (General Duty) aimed exclusively at the young men and women of Meghalaya. Organized by the BSF Frontier Headquarters Shillong, the rally is taking place at two locations: the BSF Campus, 200 Bn Dhanakgiri, Tura, and SHQ BSF Mawpat Campus, Shillong. This initiative provides a unique opportunity for local youth to pursue a career of honor and national service.

The response to the rally has been outstanding, reflecting the strong desire of Meghalaya’s youth to serve the nation. The participation ratio of approximately 70% male to 30% female highlights a growing trend of young women stepping forward to join the country’s border defense forces. The second day in Shillong saw an even larger turnout, with candidates from remote parts of the state making the journey to participate, underscoring the widespread impact and appeal of this recruitment drive.

Joining the BSF offers more than just a stable career; it is a chance to become a guardian of India’s borders and uphold the values of courage, integrity, and sacrifice. The rally demonstrates the BSF’s dedication to developing the potential of Meghalaya’s youth and directing it toward national service.

As this recruitment drive continues, it not only opens a path to a more secure future for the youth of Meghalaya but also reinforces India’s commitment to securing its borders. The dedication and service of these aspiring constables will be crucial in strengthening the unity, security, and pride of the nation.
