Shillong, November 28 : Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma on Friday announced that the second installment of the post-matric scholarship will be released on November 29, ensuring that students receive the funds before Christmas.
Making the announcement, Sangma said, “Tomorrow, November 29, I will be releasing the second installment of the post-matric scholarship. After that, it will take a maximum of two to three working days for it to reflect in the students’ accounts.”
The Chief Minister reaffirmed his commitment to timely disbursement of scholarships. “As promised to all of you, this year I will take special care and ensure your scholarship amount is released before Christmas, and hence I am doing that.”
Expressing confidence that the assistance will make a meaningful impact, Sangma added, “I am sure that this will help our student community to a large and great extent,” while extending his best wishes to all students for their future.
