Shillong, February 08 : In a recent administrative reshuffle, the Meghalaya government has announced the transfer of two senior IAS officers, effective immediately.
R.M. Kurbah, IAS, currently serving as Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills District, has been transferred and posted as Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya. She will handle the Community & Rural Development, Fisheries, Water Resources, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Departments, and concurrently serve as Director of Community & Rural Development.
Taking Kurbah’s place as Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills District is S.C. Sadhu, IAS. Sadhu previously held the position of Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya for Community & Rural Development, Forests & Environment Departments.
