Shillong, April 29: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has announced that the results for the ICSE (Class X) and ISC (Class XII) Year 2026 Main Examinations will be declared on April 30 at 11:00 AM.
According to an official notification issued by CISCE Chief Executive and Secretary Dr. Joseph Emmanuel, candidates and stakeholders will be able to access the results through the council’s official websites and the DigiLocker portal.
Students can check their results online by entering their Unique ID, Index Number, and CAPTCHA on the CISCE results portal. Schools will also be able to access detailed tabulation registers through the CAREERS portal using their login credentials.
The council has further informed that result documents of all candidates will be dispatched to schools through their respective conveners.
In case of discrepancies or dissatisfaction with marks, candidates can apply for recheck of results from May 1 to May 4. The recheck results are expected to be released in the first week of June.
Students not satisfied after recheck may opt for re-evaluation, for which applications will open shortly after recheck results are declared. The re-evaluation results are likely to be announced by late June or early July.
Additionally, CISCE has announced that improvement examinations will commence from June 15, allowing candidates to improve their scores in up to three subjects.
The council has advised students and schools to regularly check the official website for updates and detailed instructions regarding results and subsequent procedures.
