Shillong, March 7 : The North East Centre for Community Impact and Engagement (NE-CCIE) of IIM Shillong, along with the Nurturing Minds student association, played a key role in fostering innovation and leadership among young students at the “Festival in Nurturing Young Minds for the 21st Century Learning Skills.”
The festival, organized by the North East Regional Institute of Education (NERIE), NCERT, brought together students from across the region to participate in interactive activities focused on critical thinking, leadership, and entrepreneurship.
IIM Shillong’s NE-CCIE and Nurturing Minds team designed and delivered engaging sessions, including an Entrepreneurship Challenge, Design Thinking Workshop, and Business Pitch Competition. These activities provided students with hands-on learning experiences and encouraged them to develop essential skills for the 21st century.
The team also led interactive group activities like “Project Runway: Build a Cause Campaign” and the “Human Knot Race” to further enhance leadership, teamwork, and strategic thinking among the participants.
The festival successfully fostered an environment of innovation, leadership, and collaboration, inspiring students to think creatively and solve real-world problems. IIM Shillong and NE-CCIE demonstrated their commitment to empowering young minds and nurturing an entrepreneurial mindset through this initiative.
