Shillong, July 26: The All Meghalaya Karate-Do Association is proud to announce that Ms. Kynjailin Lyngdoh Mawnai has been officially selected to represent India at the prestigious 9th South Asian Karate Championship 2025, scheduled to be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka from 4th to 6th July 2025.
Kynjailin earned this well-deserved selection based on her impressive medal-winning performance at the Karate India Organisation (KIO) 4th Senior and U-21 National Karate Championship 2025, held recently at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad. She will be competing in the Female U-21 Individual Kumite -50kg category, representing the country with pride, a release said.
The Association is extremely happy and proud of her achievement, which not only reflects her dedication and talent but also brings immense honor to the state of Meghalaya.
The President, General Secretary, coaches, and all members of the All Meghalaya Karate-Do Association wholeheartedly congratulate Kynjailin on this outstanding milestone and wish her the very best as she prepares to showcase her skills at the international level.
