Shillong, February 18 : Shillong Lajong FC earn a 2-0 victory over Neroca FC in the I-League encounter held today at the SSA Stadium, Shillong.
Lajong dominated the match from the first whistle itself but could not convert their chances and it was all even going into the half-time break.
But in the second half they came back more stronger and this time they did not waste their chance and took the lead in the 52nd minute through Kynsaibor Lhuid who scored his first and debut goal in the I-League. It was not over yet for Kynsaibor Lhuid as in the 61st minute he doubled his goal tally where he scored a wonderful solo goal curling the ball from outside the box into the back of the net and increase the lead for his side.
Lajong collected all 3 points going into the full time whistle and have climbed up to 5th position in the points table with 22 points from 14 matches.
Lajong will now look forward to their next game which is an away match against TRAU FC on Sunday, February 25 at 7 p.m. in Kalyani Stadium, Kolkata.
