MEGHALAYA ARTISTS IN INTERNATIONAL ART EXHIBITION “WHERE THE MIND IS WITHOUT FEAR” HELD IN BANGKOK

Meghalaya artists participated in the international art exhibition “Where The Mind is without Fear” held at the BTU Gallery in Bangkok, Thailand from June 10 to 12, 2023. The exhibition was organized by the Positive Energy Art Foundation in Shillong, India, and the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts at Bangkokthonburi University.

The Meghalaya artists who participated in the exhibition were Raphael Warjri, Benedict S Hynñiewta, Naphisabiang Khongwir, Dipankar Sinha and Divesh Baruah.

The exhibition featured hundreds of paintings by more than 100 artists from 10 countries, with thirty artists from India including Dr. Prakash Kishore

The exhibition was opened by Mr. Vipul Pawar, head of Chancery at the Embassy of India in Bangkok, Mohammad Abdul Hye, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Thailand, Prof. Suchat Thaothong, President of the BFA at Bangkokthonburi University, Mr. Mathasit Addok, Dean of the BFA at Bangkokthonburi University, and Dr. Suriya Chayacharoen, Director of the BTU Gallery.
