Shillong, February 10 : A delegation of esteemed members from the Meghalaya College Principals’ Council (MCPC), who also serve as office-bearers of the Association of Indian College Principals (AICP), recently attended the 27th International Conference in Bali, Indonesia.
The conference, held at Udayana University from February 7th-8th, 2025, brought together higher education leaders from across the globe to share insights and best practices.
The Meghalaya delegation comprised:
- Dr. Eureka F P Lyngdoh, Principal of Sankerdev College and President of MCPC
- Dr. Kyntiewkupar Nongsiej, Principal of Sngap Syiem College Mawkyrwat and Vice President of MCPC
- Dr. Ricard M Lyngdoh, Principal of Synod College Shillong and Joint Secretary of MCPC
- Dr. Evakor Kharkongor, Principal of Shillong College and Treasurer of MCPC
- Dr. Motish M Sangma, Principal of Mendipathar College and Executive Member of MCPC
Jointly organized by AICP, Grand Academic Portal (GAP), GLS University Ahmedabad, and Udayana University, the conference focused on the theme “Excellence in Higher Education: Leading with Vision and Impact.”
During the event, Synod College, Shillong, was recognized by AICP for achieving an impressive A+ grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in 2023. Notably, Shillong College was similarly honored by AICP last year in Jaipur for also securing an A+ grade from NAAC.
These achievements highlight the dedication of Meghalaya’s higher education institutions to pursuing excellence and innovation.
