Shillong, August 13 : The Meghalaya Legislative Assembly Secretariat has released the official calendar for the Autumn Session 2025, detailing a packed agenda of government and private members’ business to be conducted between September 8 and September 12, 2025.
Monday, 8 September 2025 – Government Business
The session will open with the Speaker’s announcements, including the Report of the Business Advisory Committee and the names of members nominated to the Panel of Chairmen. Key activities will include:
- Laying of ordinances, orders, notifications, reports, rules, and regulations.
- Introduction of government bills.
- Presentation of Supplementary Demands for Grants and Supplementary Appropriation for 2025–2026.
- Obituary references.
Tuesday, 9 September 2025 – Private Members’ Business
- Discussion of private members’ bills (if any), motions, and resolutions.
Wednesday, 10 September 2025 – Government Business
- Voting on Supplementary Demands for Grants.
Thursday, 11 September 2025 – Private Members’ Business
- Bills (if any), resolutions, and motions.
Friday, 12 September 2025 – Government Business
- Voting on Supplementary Demands for Grants.
