Shillong, May 12 : The Meghalaya Swimming Association has announced that the 18th State Aquatic Championship (Swimming) will be held at Crinoline Swimming Pool, Shillong, on May 30th and 31st, 2025.
The championship will feature the following categories:
- SUB JUNIOR (Boys & Girls): Group III (11-12 years, born in 2013, 2014)
- JUNIOR GROUP (Boys & Girls):
- Group-I (15-17 years, born in 2008, 2009, 2010)
- Group-II (13-14 years, born in 2011, 2012)
- SENIOR (BOYS AND GIRLS): Open (Minimum age 14 years and above, born 2011 or earlier)
The events for each category are as follows:
- Junior Group I & II (Boys & Girls): Free Style (50m, 100m), Back Stroke (50m), Breast Stroke (50m, 100m), Butterfly Stroke (50m, 100m), Individual Medley (200m), Free Style Relay (4x50m), Medley Relay (4x50m)
- Sub Junior Group III (Boys & Girls): Free Style (50m, 100m), Back Stroke (50m), Breast Stroke (50m, 100m), Butterfly Stroke (50m), Individual Medley (200m), Free Style Relay (4x50m), Medley Relay (4x50m)
- Senior (Boys & Girls): Free Style (50m, 100m, 200m), Back Stroke (50m), Breast Stroke (50m, 100m), Butterfly Stroke (50m, 100m), Individual Medley (200m), Free Style Relay (4x50m), Medley Relay (4x50m)
Registration will be open from May 15th to May 20th, 2025. No entries will be accepted after May 20th, 2025. Registration will be conducted online only. Seniors wishing to participate in two categories should register separately.
