Shillong, August 11 : The Under Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, General Administration Department (B) has informed that the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign will be organized in the state from 13th to 15th August, 2023. The campaign aims to encourage people to celebrate India’s Independence Day with same zeal and patriotism.
Under the campaign, people are encouraged to hoist the National Flag in their homes and put selfies with the flag on the website www.harghartiranga.com. The idea behind the campaign is to instill the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of people and reminisce the journey of India and those who have contributed towards creating this great nation.
The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign was launched in 2022 under the aegis of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, a flagship initiative of the Government of India. The campaign was a huge success, with millions of people hoisting the National Flag in their homes.
The government of Meghalaya is hoping that the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign will be even more successful in 2023. The government has urged all citizens to participate in the campaign and show their patriotism towards the nation.
