QR CODE-BASED SOLUTION TO ELIMINATE LONG QUEUES AT OPDs

Shillong, August 1 : The ABDM Scan & Share Implementation Program was launched today at the OPD Registration Block of Civil Hospital, Shillong. The program was launched by Dr. H. C Lyndem, Director Health Services (MI).

The ABDM Scan & Share Implementation is a QR-code based solution that will enable patients to scan QR codes and share their demographic information with consent. This will help to eliminate long queues at OPDs and improve the patient experience.

The ABDM Scan & Share Implementation is part of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), which is a national initiative to transform India’s healthcare system. The ABDM aims to create a unified digital health ecosystem that will make it easier for patients to access and share their health information.

The QR-code based solution is one of the many components of the ABDM. This solution will help to improve the efficiency of healthcare delivery and make it easier for patients to access the care they need.
