Shillong, February 20 : A moment of immense pride for NCC Group HQ Shillong as Cadet Rifiness Warjri, of St. Anthony’s College under 61 Meghalaya Girls Bn NCC, has been selected for the prestigious Mount Everest expedition.
Cadet Warjri’s selection comes after completing rigorous training at the Army Mountaineering Institute (AMI) in Siachen. She is the only female cadet selected from the entire North Eastern Region Directorate (NER Dte), making her achievement even more remarkable.
