Shillong, November 18: After a tremendous run of five wins on the trot, Meghalaya will face Mizoram in the final of the U-23 men’s State A Trophy 2025-26 plate group in Mohali tomorrow.

Across the various categories this season, this team is the first to have made it to any of the finals and they have done so in resounding style. Ahead of the final, Meghalaya Cricket Association President Nababrata Bhattacharjee and Honorary Secretary Rayonald Kharkamni congratulated the team on reaching the title match and expressed best wishes on behalf of the entire MCA family for Wednesday’s decider.

Meghalaya thus finished at the top of the group with Mizoram second.

Dipankar Baruah is second in the run charts with 203 – he is the only player to have scored a century in the plate group this year, with his unbeaten ton in the last match helping Meghalaya beat Mizoram.
