Sub-Committee, GHADC Employees, and NGEA Hold Meeting to Finalize Salary Disbursement Plan

Tura, October 7 : A crucial meeting was held today between the Sub-Committee, employees of the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC), and members of the Non-Gazetted Employees Association (NGEA) to deliberate on the plan for disbursing 12 months’ pending salaries to GHADC employees. The meeting was chaired by Vibhor Aggarwal, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of West Garo Hills.

The Sub-Committee presented a comprehensive plan for the release of the pending salaries, detailing the steps and timeline to ensure that the disbursement process is completed by October 15, 2025, as approved by the State Cabinet.

Council officials informed that preparatory work is already in progress, including the compilation of salary statements and completion of necessary documentation, to facilitate the release of funds at the earliest.

Addressing the gathering, Deputy Commissioner Vibhor Aggarwal reiterated that the primary objective of the meeting was to review the council’s preparedness and ensure the smooth execution of the disbursement process.

He underscored that the timely release of the 12-month salary remains a top administrative priority, assuring that the process will advance immediately after the completion of all required paperwork.

The meeting concluded with a consensus among all stakeholders to maintain close coordination and continuous communication to ensure that the salary disbursement is completed within the stipulated timeframe, bringing relief to GHADC employees.
