Petrol, Diesel Prices Hiked by ₹3 Per Litre Amid Global Energy Price Surge

New Delhi, May 15: Oil companies have increased the prices of petrol and diesel by ₹3 per litre each following a rise in global energy prices.

According to the latest revised rates, petrol in Meghalaya is now priced at around ₹98.86 per litre, reflecting an increase of approximately ₹2.60.

The hike is reportedly linked to increasing international crude oil and energy prices affecting fuel markets globally.

The revised fuel prices are expected to come into effect immediately and may impact transportation costs and prices of essential commodities across the country.
