The State Junior Kabaddi Selection Trial and Training Camp for boys and girls in the Under-20 category was held from October 5 to 10 at the BSF Indoor Stadium, Umpling, with the objective of identifying and preparing young players for national-level competition.

A total of 80 participants from different districts of Meghalaya took part in the camp. The players underwent training and assessment in raiding techniques, defensive tackles, agility, speed, coordination, physical fitness, teamwork, tactical awareness and game discipline.
