Shillong, November 8 : The countdown has begun for the Assam Rifles Half Marathon (ARHM) 2024, set to take place in Shillong on Sunday, 24thNovember 2024. As the largest racing event in Northeast India, ARHM 2024 is expected to draw record numbers of participants from across the region, with excitement reaching new heights for this celebrated event.
Runners of all levels are invited to participate in one of three race categories: the challenging 21 km half marathon, a swift 10 km race, and a fun 5 km run, ensuring that there’s a place for everyone in this exhilarating event. Participants will experience the natural beauty of Meghalaya, racing through the state’s mesmerising landscapes, from rolling hills to serene lakes, in a unique opportunity to “Chase the Clouds and Conquer the Hills.”
Adding to the excitement, boxing legend MC Mary Kom has been declared as the official Brand Ambassador for the ARHM, symbolizing resilience and determination—values that align closely with the spirit of this event.
