Haemodialysis is a critical treatment for patients with renal conditions and the expansion comes in response to the ever-increasing demand for the service. With the addition of these new machines, Bethany Hospital aims to significantly enhance its capacity to serve more patients efficiently and effectively.
“We are delighted to unveil our enhanced Dialysis Unit, equipped with advanced technology imported from Italy to provide optimal care for patients requiring dialysis,” remarked Dr. Kyntiewlang Sanmiet, RMO incharge of the Dialysis Unit and Spokesperson of Bethany Hospital. “This expansion reinforces our dedication to meeting the healthcare needs of our community.”
Furthermore, beneficiaries of the Megha Health Insurance Scheme (MHIS) can also avail the benefits for haemodialysis covered under MHIS, ensuring that this vital treatment remains affordable and accessible to all patients.
Notably, the Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is also equipped with haemodialysis machines to provide critical patients in the ICU with necessary haemodialysis treatments.
