CT UNIVERSITY HONORS EXCELLENCE IN MEGHALAYA EDUCATION AT MEGPUN 1.0

Shillong, 10 June : CT University organized Megpun 1.0, an event that recognized excellence in education in Meghalaya. In Shillong, over 30 schools participated in the event and witnessed the presentation of the Excellence Awards to the top 20 Higher Secondary teachers in Meghalaya. These exceptional teachers were recognized for their tireless service that shaped the future generation.

The event also presented the Shining Star Awards to 80 outstanding Higher Secondary students from Meghalaya, who demonstrated their commitment to excellence, hard work, and dedication. Megpun 1.0 aimed to celebrate these individuals for their significant contributions to Meghalaya’s education landscape.

In addition, CTU announced the launch of an integrated degree course with IAS coaching in association with Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy Of Administration (LBSNAA) Uttarakhand. This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the IAS syllabus, expert guidance, and hands-on experience in preparation for the civil service.

The Chief Guest at the event was Mr. T.T.C. Marak, IFS who served as the Former Principal and Chief Conservator of Forests in Meghalaya. Mr. David Laitphlang, the President of the Shillong Press Club, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honor.

Pro-Chancellor of CT University, Dr. Manbir Singh, expressed his delight at having organized Megpun 1.0, an event that recognized the excellence of Meghalaya’s education sector. The event was a grand success, with enthusiastic participation from 30 schools.
