Dorbar Shnong Muktapur Expresses Gratitude to KSU Bengaluru Unit for Efforts in Tracing Kwis Sumer

Shillong, August 11 : The Dorbar Shnong Muktapur has expressed its heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Donboklang Nongphud, President of the Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) Bengaluru Unit, along with all members of the unit, for their efforts in helping trace Kwis Sumer, a youth from Muktapur who had gone missing in Karnataka.

According to a statement issued by the Executive Committee of the Dorbar Shnong Muktapur, Sumer had been missing since July 13, 2026, while in Karnataka. The Dorbar Shnong said the active involvement, responsibility and persistent efforts of the KSU Bengaluru Unit contributed significantly to locating him safely and in good health.

The Dorbar Shnong first expressed gratitude to God for the safe tracing of the missing youth and said it deeply appreciated the dedication, sacrifice and tireless efforts of the KSU leaders and members who extended their assistance during the search.

It further stated that the community has no adequate means to repay the kindness and support shown by those involved, but remains sincerely grateful for their commitment to helping a fellow member of the Khasi community.

The Dorbar Shnong Muktapur also offered prayers for the KSU Bengaluru Unit, wishing that its leaders and members continue to be guided and strengthened in their efforts to help people in need and work for the welfare of the Khasi community.
