Shillong, September 26 : The Megha Health Insurance Scheme (MHIS), the State Nodal Agency responsible for administering healthcare services under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (ABPM-JAY) in Meghalaya, has received two prestigious awards in recognition for its outstanding performance at the Arogya Manthan 2023 event.
MHIS was awarded the ‘Best Performing State’ in the Small State category for the following:
- Highest Number of treatments (October 2022 to September 2023)
- Gender equity in Service delivery (October 2022 to September 2023)
The Arogya Manthan event was hosted by the National Health Authority, Government of India, in New Delhi on September 25th and 26th, 2023.
These awards are a testament to the hard work and dedication of the MHIS team, as well as the commitment of the Government of Meghalaya to providing quality healthcare services to all its citizens.
