Shillong, November 21 : In a reversal of the previous decision, the East Khasi Hills Police have revoked the one-way traffic system implemented on the Polo Bazaar Road between Polo Bazaar and 4th Furlong Junction. The decision was taken after an assessment of the impact of the one-way system, which failed to significantly ease traffic congestion in the area.
In light of the assessment, the authorities decided to revert back to the two-way traffic system on Polo Bazaar Road.
