Shillong, March 16 : The Rotary Club of Orchid City, Shillong, under the dynamic leadership of Rotarian Surjya Banerjee, has successfully conducted a Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) event at the RRTC Umran. This year’s RYLA saw enthusiastic participation from approximately 56 students, who engaged in various leadership, development, and community service activities.
RYLA, a cornerstone program of Rotary International, focuses on empowering the youth through leadership training and personal development. The event at RRTC Umran provided a platform for young minds to explore their potential and enhance their capabilities to become future leaders.
Rotarian Surjya Banerjee, along with his dedicated team, spearheaded the event, ensuring a blend of educational sessions, inspirational talks, and interactive workshops. The activities were designed to instill the Rotary values of service, integrity, and fellowship among the participants.
