Shillong, September 14 : The Meghalaya Sports & Youth Affairs Department organized a send-off ceremony for the Meghalaya Subroto Cup Football Team 2023 U-17 Years Girls team at the MFA Football Ground in Shillong on September 14, 2023.
The team, led by Saiden Secondary School Nongpoh, will be participating in the 62nd edition of the Subroto Cup Football Tournament in New Delhi from September 19 to 26, 2023.
The Chief Guest of the send-off ceremony was Isawanda Laloo, IAS, Director of Sports & Youth Affairs, Government of Meghalaya. She encouraged the players to give their best and play with determination. B.L. Nongbet, DSO Ribhoi District, gave a short speech
