Shillong, October 20: Shillong Lajong FC is delighted to announce the return of Coach Birendra Thapa to the helm of the team as the Assistant Coach for the upcoming I-League season. Thapa, who has a rich history with the club, is set to bring his expertise and passion back to Lajong following his coaching stint with Mohammedan SC & Sreenidi Deccan Football Club in the I-League.
Coach Birendra Thapa was a former Lajong player and his previous spell with Lajong as a coach was in the year 2013 until 2019, he then joined Mohammedan SC in 2019 and Sreenidi Deccan in 2021.
With a proven track record and a deep understanding of the club’s ethos, Coach Birendra aims to guide the team towards greater achievements in the season ahead.
