Shillong, April 17: The much-anticipated Shillong concert of legendary rock band Scorpions, scheduled for April 21, 2026, is reportedly cancelled, according to multiple sources.
The concert was to be held at the RBDSA Sports Complex (Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium) as part of the band’s ‘Coming Home 2026’ India Tour, marking their return to the city after nearly two decades.
Reports indicate that the cancellation is due to ongoing respiratory health issues faced by the band’s lead singer, Klaus Meine.
While there has been no official confirmation from organisers at the time of filing this report, several updates circulating online suggest that the show may not go ahead as planned.
Fans have been advised to wait for an official announcement and check ticketing platforms such as BookMyShow for updates regarding refunds or further information.
The Shillong concert was expected to be the opening show of the band’s India tour and had generated significant excitement among music enthusiasts in the region.
