Shillong, August 1 : Mr. Justice Biswadeep Bhattacharjee was administered the oath of office of the Additional Judge of the High Court of Meghalaya today, the 1″ August 2023 by Sanjib Banerjee, Chief Justice of the High Court of Meghalaya.
Justice Biswadeep Bhattacharjee was born on March 26 1968 at Shillong and completed his LL.B. from North Eastern Hill University, Shillong.
He joined the Bar and practised as an Advocate from September 1993. Prior to his elevation, he served as an Additional Advocate General of Meghalaya with effect from 6 September, 2018 and while serving in the said post he was also designated as Senior Advocate on 24 September, 2021 by the High Court of Meghalaya.
