Mawsynram, January 08 : Mawsynram Police Station officers have recovered three stolen motorcycles, two from Shillong and one from Assam, during a vehicle checkpoint operation today.
During the checking, one motorcycle rider attempted to evade the police, leading to a chase. The rider abandoned the motorcycle and fled the scene.
The recovered motorcycles are: AS19 N 8664, ML 05AD 3852, ML05 AE 1218.
Two individuals have been arrested in connection with the recovered bikes: Sengku M Marak, 24 years old, Cornalius Mukhim, 18 years old
Investigations are ongoing to apprehend the fleeing suspect and to determine the full extent of the theft operation.
